March Dates For Your Diary
Dates for Your Diary
Please note that the subs for March will be due on March 5th. As there are 4 Saturdays in the month the amount due will be £11 per child.
• March 5th- We have the Groundwork trust coming to give the children a fun and interactive presentation called “shocking earth” They will be learning all about the environment and the impact of global warming. This will last for 2 and a half hours and will finish at approximately 12:30pm (Children’s university members will be eligible to have their passport stamped on attendance of this event)
• March 12th- normal scout meeting
• March 19th- Glass painting. Could all the children bring a clean glass jar? Preferably smaller than the size of a jam jar but larger than a baby food jar. Thank you
• March 26th – Visit to Clitheroe Castle. Please see the separate letter distributed today. Permission slips must be returned by March 19th at the latest. (Children’s university members will be eligible to have their passport stamped on attendance of this event)
• April 2nd- A meeting of all the parents of children will take place in the classroom upstairs. It is extremely important that you attend to finalise the paperwork and ask any questions you may have. Please note that there will be no other opportunity to do this as I am away on holiday and will not be taking any calls for the week. I am under strict instructions from my wife to relax (and she’s the Boss !!!!!!)

This week the explorers are coming to Wensley fold to give a presentation to the children and parents about all their adventures and trips abroad. Hopefully we can inspire our youngsters and their parents, that they too can “join the adventure”.
